Build Season - Week 2

Monday

• Mentors from St Clair College and the University of Windsor came to offer support. These mentors once belonged to FIRST robotics teams. They provided assistance and taught us some essential business tips. They were also able to help us with programming. This experience was important to our team because it was the first time that our robot moved on its own.

Tuesday and Wednesday

• Mentor Peter, introduced us to AutoCad and he showed us the basics of the program.

• Attempted to work on our designs.

• Ordered parts for winch from Vex

Saturday

• Worked together to finishing our prototype and we almost finished the chassis for our robot.

• Assembled the winch

• Designed and finalized the gear basket

• Our marketing team began to write our chairman’s essay.
