Georgian Reflection

Our new team members' first competition! How exciting for them! Our members loved interacting with other teams, especially our mascot! This year, our team presented to the judges for the Chairman's Award, with nerves of steel, three members of our team prepared vigourosly for this presentation --which they nailed! Go Team!

On top of that, it was really our first time playing the game since we were working on our robot until the very last minute! Our team discovered that communication is the key to success during this tournament. Every team member has a voice that need to be heard. We concluded that structured team meetings are mandatory in order to voice our ideas in a calm manner.

As we know, competition days are long days. We were tired and slightly discouraged as things were not going our way. During our end of day meeting, we regrouped and determined, as a TEAM, what needed to be worked on. We've improved our autonomous mode, the speed of our robot, and then some.

We were humbled to be chosen to be part of an alliance and made it to the semi-finals! On top of that, we won the Judge's Award...what an honour!
