Build Season - Week 3
Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday
Struggled to build our robot in the school library.
Visited our sponsor Windsor Metal who gave us some metal pieces and cut others for us.
Robot body starts to take shape
Saturday
Continued working on the design of our robot and cutting our electrical board, now that we had our dimensions.
Discussed the use of pneumatics for our scissor lift (too complicated, not enough room)
Worked with our Junior Lego Robotics team.
Went to E.J. LaJeunesse (Team 5426) – who kindly offered their help and their metal shop. A big shout out to E.J. LaJeunesse for all their help. Once again coopertition saves the day! (On a side note – EJL is usually our biggest school rival! How different robotics is!)
