Build Season - Week 5
Monday
OK so we might have started to panic at this point!
Tuesday and Wednesday
Programming, some CAD work.
Designed and printed up some battery covers on the 3D printer.
Continued to test and improve the basket design.
Saturday
Tried to get the scissor lift to work.
Programming crashed the robot and we had to fix the ball gate, and rebuild it with stronger metal - From this we learned to keep the robot up on a lift so it wouldn’t take off when we are working on it.
Rewired all the motors because we found a short in the system, which we fixed.
The junior team made progress on the sumo event and the bridge.
