Post-Competition Analysis
What went wrong:
During our inspection, we were asked to move our killswitch. Later, we realized that our killswitch was broken.
It should’ve been the first thing we checked since it was a modification we made.
Our gear basket was not very efficient
Should have been improved after last competition.
Not enough weight on our robot, our centre of gravity was too high.
We were not ready to match the level of competition and aggressiveness of the other teams competing
What went right:
We fixed the killswitch
had a better safety program: Handed out safety kits
Good communication and connections with other teams
We made a variety of pins for other teams!
Had a good pit setup
Brought the right tools
Improved our winch;
Made it faster
Easier to climb
Less room for error
Analysis:
Communication between the team can be improved by having a meeting after every competition and showing what each team accomplished by using a board or padlet to track what each section is doing.
For example, if the driver wants changes he should voice this to the programmer and if the programmer makes changes, he should let them know.
