Post-Competition Analysis
What went wrong:
We had to create our pamphlets there and hadn’t made them beforehand.
We had to add our new gear basket to the robot and make sure it worked .
We had try to program a better autonomous so that it could put gears from any starting point.
Should have worked on it before competition.
Had trouble getting around defensive teams
Not enough pins
The rope got stuck in our winch so we added a piece of noodle
Bumpers were coming undone.
What went right:
We made a better gear basket.
had a better safety program, we Handed out safety kits
Good communication and connections with other teams
We made a variety of pins for other teams!
Had a good pit setup.
Brought the right tools.
Put on 3 to 4 gears each match.
Had more driving experience
Created a better autonomous
Analysis:
Communication between team members is very important, everyone must know what is going with the robot.
More team shirts!
More buttons!
Should have started modifying our autonomous sooner.
Go easier on ourselves.
Double check everything for the robot.
make connections with other teams, don’t be shy!
See other teams first and establish a strategy because we have a passive gear basket.
