Kickoff: Powering Up!

Kickoff at St. Clair College and meeting at E. J. Lajeunesse: January 6, 2018

• We started the day by going to St. Clair to find out the subject of the new game which is FIRST Tech PowerUp. We received our kit with all the materials needed to make our robot.

• After watching the video for FIRST Tech PowerUp, we went to E.J. Lajeunesse High School to discuss strategies we could use in the new game.

• E.J. Lajeunesse High School welcomed us warmly (with pizza) and opened a discussion so we could share our ideas about the competitions and strategy.

• Although we all have different ideas on how to approach the new game, we had a lot of fun bouncing ideas off each other and improving as a collective unit.
