Rookie Day!

Planned and hosted our rookie day.

We invited all the rookie teams from Windsor to London, as well team 772 and team 4920, knowing we could use the help of experienced teams.
We built the chassis (our own that we had ordered as well as a kit that 772 was able to bring along).
The Fogular Furlan Club sponsored us providing a pasta dinner. We had volunteers serve the food.
The experienced teams were able to help the other teams build and answer their questions. We had a “make and take” drive station (which we designed) and the rookie teams left with a finished stand. Everyone had a great time and said the experience really helped alleviate their fears with regards to putting the base together. We had so much fun, we are planning to make it an annual event.
